Edgbaston:
Air Testing Solutions has carried out a successful consultancy and air leakage
testing project in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The new 'Sunrise Senior Living'
elderly home was constructed by LPS Construction Limited, with comfort levels
in mind for the future residents. So air leakage had to be minimal.
A.T Solutions carried out a full air leakage consultancy before the final Building Regulation Part L2 Air Permeability Test. This included a drawing audit and a series of site inspections (with a detailed report), so all aspects of air leakage were covered before the air test. The final pressure test of the building gave a successful result below the specified level.
A.T Solutions input came at an early stage of the project so any possible problem areas for air leakage could be identified and dealt with at the start. This is a cost affective method not only for the client (reduced energy loss) but for the constructor, as deadlines will be met and no damage will be made internally trying to isolate problem areas for air leakage.
Newark:
Air Testing Solutions carried out a successful Air leakage consultancy service
and final Building Regulations Part L2 Air Permeability Test in Newark. The new
offices were constructed by main contractor A and K Building Services Limited,
the building is now occupied by Derry Building Services.
Air Testing Solutions worked closely with A and K Building Services Limited to achieve a successful air permeability result. A.T Solutions carried out an intensive site inspection, monitoring all aspects of the buildings fabric for possible air leakage potential.
A and K Building Services competently addressed all areas highlighted, to achieve a result below the Part L2 specified level.
A.T Solutions offer early input on all projects in the way of technical drawing reviews and site inspections (accompanied with a detailed report) before the final Building Regulation Part L2 Air Permeability Test. This ensures all problem areas for air leakage are dealt with at an early stage.
Premier Park:
Air Testing Solutions work specifically to our clients requirements this
ensures minimum site disruption. Our clients also benefit from immediate air
permeability results whilst on site.
LPS Construction Limited required a final Building Regulation Part L2 air permeability test for two different buildings on the same day at the new Premier Park, Park Royal.
The buildings consisted of a warehouse and small industrial unit. Two air permeability tests were carried out with our trailer mounted fan on the warehouse and modular door fans on the smaller industrial unit. All works were carried out on one day and passed successfully to the specified Part L2 compliance for air leakage.
LPS Construction requirements were met and they have now presented their client with a cost affective, energy efficient building.
